MEET MARLOWE
Marlowe is a Program Assistant, a Community Safety Worker, and an Outreach Worker. Originally from Austin, Texas, Marlowe moved to Madison after graduating from Oberlin College in 2023. Their passion for ending gun violence led them to pursue a more active role in the movement and work with Focused Interruption, and he hopes to create positive change in the community. Their daily work includes responding to hospital calls, managing cases, running Focused Interruption's social media platforms, and seeking new partnerships and connections in the community. Marlowe firmly believes that the path toward restorative justice should be rooted in community based violence intervention, which is why he seeks to introduce Focus Interruption into diverse Madison communities by harnessing community partnerships to serve more people.
