MEET KWAN

​Kwan is a Madison native and serves as a Community Safety Worker in the Madison school district by mentoring at-risk kids of all ages with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As part the Leaders of Tomorrow program (L.O.T.), he works alongside family members, school staff, and the community to fulfill the goal of helping kids succeed. Over the last seven years, he has mentored kids in both informal and formal education settings. Part of his mentoring process is demonstrating respect and instilling the joy of learning. Kwan’s passion is motivating students and helping them develop the tools they need to succeed. He becomes part of the support system that makes achievement possible.
