MEET DENNIS

Dennis is a native of Madison and serves as a Community Safety Worker and certified Peer Specialist. His lived experiences and compassion are key assets in advocating for equality as well as accountability. His past negative behaviors and subsequent incarceration later helped him to understand and defuse a brewing gang conflict. He has a skill for empathizing with the struggles individuals face when re-entering society after incarceration. His values of empathy, respect, and truth drive him to engage with others.
